AiCAR (CEO Cho Kyu-jin), a company specializing in connected cars, announced that Smart IoT Public Vehicle Solution(AINET) using digital keys has been designated as an "excellent R&D innovation product" by the Ministry of Science and ICT.

The "Excellent R&D Innovation Product Designation System" is a system designed to promote private technology innovation by combining public procurement and R&D policies.

Only products whose innovation in technology is recognized through strict screening will be selected as "excellent R&D innovation products." If designated as an innovative product, it will receive support such as a three-year contract for public procurement, pilot purchase by the Public Procurement Service, and export.

AiCAR's 'Smart IoT Public Vehicle Solution Using Digital Keys' allows non-face-to-face unmanned management of public vehicles used by local governments or companies.

Connected car platforms with the latest cloud technology and smart IoT technology are applied. Users can reserve a vehicle through a smartphone app and use and return the vehicle with the smart key function in the app. Vehicle managers can remotely check parking locations, fuel remaining capacity, and mileage, and easily check and manage reservation details, driving record log, and car insurance details.

Cho Kyu-jin, CEO of AiCAR, said, "The smart IoT public vehicle solution using digital keys designated as innovative products reflected many functions requested by local governments to introduce the solution. We are confident that it will greatly help public institutions improve the convenience and efficiency of managing public vehicles, he said. "We will actively make efforts to make more public institutions use it in the future."
